Social Media Strategist

We are seeking a Social Media Strategist with a creative mindset to develop plans for sophisticated content across multiple platforms and deliver reporting on campaign performance for clients of our boutique sports marketing and media relations agency headquartered a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. 


This individual will work closely with clients on the development of social media campaigns for events and brands as well as data reporting and analysis of content performance. The skillset for candidates should include strategic planning, creativity, project management, analytical thinking and self-motivation. 


The Social Media Strategist will …

• lead planning of unique social media campaigns to market a variety of events and brands 

• contribute to development of brand standards, voice and tone for clients 

• present plans to clients

• monitor performance of campaigns

• be willing to modify campaigns as necessary based on performance and other factors

• lead tracking of performance across social platforms

• look beyond the data to determine factors leading to campaign performance

• present data and analysis to clients 

• collaborate on day-to-day social media feed moderation

• assist with design of multimedia content including video, graphics, photography, audio and text

• coordinate enhanced event coverage with other members of social media team

• collaborate with event staff, including, but not limited to, management, marketing, communications, sponsorship and ticketing

• work with partners to develop sponsored content 

• monitor accounts of similar properties to gain insights 

• stay current with latest trends and technological advancements in digital media

• roll with it when other responsibilities not mentioned need handling

You should know this position requires …

• work on some nights and weekends, based on the event schedules

• travel to event locations

• confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information

• understanding of brand identities and the unique voice for individual entities 

• proficiency with programs included in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office

• strong interpersonal skills in written and verbal communication

• professionalism in appearance and demeanor
